Welcome to Jones Winery and Vineyard

Jones Winery and Vineyard specializes in making premium quality hand-crafted wines. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have some amazing old vines, some of which were planted just after the turn of the century before last!

Jones Winery & Vineyard is situated within one of the oldest and continually active wine growing regions in Australia – Rutherglen. Approximately 300 km North East of Victoria's capital. Rutherglen, is central to the 19 wineries that make up the Winemakers of Rutherglen - Jones being one of these.

The area has a rich history of gold and farming. Most of the winegrowing properties in the area have been owned and run by the same family for generations. Jones Winery and Vineyard is one of the oldest of these properties and its vineyard was established in the 1860's.

Cellar Door

Our charming sales area is in a heritage listed barn made from hand made bricks. It’s original bark roof is still in place. We also have a Gallery featuring furniture made from native timbers sourced from sustainable forests.

Our cellar door and gallery are open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 11am - 4pm. Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays from 10am - 5pm, and by appointment. We accept buses and large groups by appointment only. We are closed Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Good Friday.
