Jones Winery and Vineyard Cellar Door is housed in one of the property’s original barns, built in the 1860s from handmade bricks. Rich in heritage and tradition, it is the perfect space in which to sample the Jones Winery and Vineyard and Jones The Winemaker wines.
Our two labels offer distinct styles.

Our cellar door is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 11 am to 4 pm and on weekends and public holidays from 10 am to 5 pm. Special wine tastings can be arranged by calling us on (02) 6032 8496. We accept buses and large groups by appointment only. We are closed Christmas Day, New Years Day, and Good Friday.
The Rutherglen Wine Region:
The Rutherglen area is rich in heritage and country hospitality. Closely guarded family tradition melds seamlessly with modern wine making techniques. Newly introduced grape varieties also helps ensure that Rutherglen remains one of Australia's great wine making regions. Extensive sunshine, a mild climate and dry autumns allow grapes to develop firm natural tannins and fullness of flavour, making this area renowned for its fortified and table wines.
